Time to Start Killing Remainers till Article 50 is invoked quips Bromley UKIP Councillor

Cries for for death threat Councillor Terance Nathan who “represents” Cray Valley West to resign after shocking Facebook comments.

Terry Nathan

Terry Nathan, UKIP Councillor for Cray Valley West has been caught on Facebook suggesting shooting those of us who voted to Remain in the EU as a way of quickening Theresa May’s invoking of article 50 to exit the European Union.

He laughed it off when questioned by Orpington Post saying his comments “were meant to be taken with a pinch of salt”

Bromley Council opposition Labour leader Councillor Angela Wilkins called for his resignation adding

“Quite frankly I am absolutely appalled by these comments, but then again a number of UKIP representatives have said outrageous and offensive things on a number of occasions so perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised.

As far as Labour is concerned, we have no time for these extreme views. There is quite simply no excuse for posting what he did and Cllr Nathan must resign immediately.”

In light of the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox – Nigel Farage’s misjudged statement of the Brexit decision had been achieved “without a single bullet being fired” was in extremely poor taste. It seems that one of Farage’s flock is now advocating the murder of 16,141,241 of us, 92,398 of which live in the borough in which he is a councillor. And this is a borough which voted to stay in the EU – despite his party wasting valuable council time debating with the Tories on how Brexit will be good for Bromley…

Councillor Nathan added

“I thought it was so extreme as to be obviously daft. I did not think anyone would take it seriously but some obviously have and I greatly regret this. It was honestly intended as a ridiculous over statement. Anyone would tell you that I hold dear both respect and democracy, I would never seriously have advocated such violence.”

It is said that “Many a true word is spoken in jest” We have just found out Councillor Nathan’s true feelings, which is violent contempt for any other opinion apart from his own. Resign Now.
