In his speech yesterday, Ed Miliband set out the choice facing voters in next year’s general election.
Between a Conservative Party that thinks success comes from tax cuts for a few at the top. And a Labour Party focused on helping hardworking families, with an energy price freeze and an increase in the minimum wage.
Or on Europe, where the Tories are putting their own party’s interest before national interest, whereas Labour is clear that Britain’s future prosperity is best served by staying inside a reformed Europe.
