We’ve been out campaigning to support Clive Efford’s Private Members Bill, due for debate on 21 November 2014. If it passes, it would scrap the worst parts of the Health and Social Care Act – the terrible law that’s forcing the steady privatisation and break-up of our health service.
You can support Clive’s bill by signing the Labour Party petition and the supporting e-petition.
You can also send an email to Jo Johnson at firstname.lastname@example.org encouraging him to vote for the bill.
Nigel de Gruchy, Labour’s candidate for Orpington in the General Election said:
“I was very pleased with the support for our petition. This came from people with a wide range of political views. The only exception were the UKIP supporters. They were very negative, which is not surprising as they want charges introduced for NHS services.”
